In my college, the NSS unit had organized a blood donation camp. More than 150 Students particiapted and donated blood. S.V.Sekar had honored us in his presence. The students were checked for normal weight, and blood iron content and blood pressure. A few were rejected, the rest donated their blood. All the donors were provided with one biscuit packet and a tetra pack Frooti. Everything went on well until a few of the guys didn’t want anything to eat and fell down and injured themselves.(insane isn’t it).I didn’t donate my blood this time cos my GYM Master Adhitya denied when i asked for his approval, but i had sneaked in to check my BP.

I was reading the newspaper and then i saw this caption that caught my eyes.
The article was about the people who would send attachments of size more than 500KB and I’m proud to say I’m one of them.Marc once scolded me because i had sent a .bmp image of size 2Mb, now that made me post this on my blog.I was wondering why people would suffer from an attachment more than 500kb? Then i found that the people like Marc are trying to access the internet through their mobile phones while the people like me and just trying to buy a phone like them.Anyway now i realize.Send attachments less than 500kb and only more if it was really necessary!

Today one of my classmate called me and said that she needed to format a laptop, Its a long time since i’ve formatted a laptop.I felt bored after the long pongal holidays, so i agreed. As usual i started the laptop checking for the configuration, Damn too slow processor and other things were too much less specs. I had got only my Windows xp for the installation, so made up my mind to format and install, how dumb would i look. The UE ran well and the installation went fine but it took too long in this Acer travelmate 201T but it took so long that i manged to switched off the laptop as the tiredness swallowed me. Tomorrow is the day where i have to do the same thing., Damn!

Edit: Later then i formatted and installed windows 2000 and then i had to download the drivers for the laptop from the internet to install them,.

They are going insane… What else should i describe. See it for yourself

DogFood, you need Parental guidance!

I remember Marc say that the increase in the value for Indian currency compared to US Dollars is a bad thing for MNC companies and its employees, but i think this year its good for all the employees since its going to be a 14% hike in their salary. That would be around 25% hike overall when compared to the year 2005.

Today, i was reading the Newspaper and i found this weird Ad of South Central Railways. The Advertisement was to inform the passengers that they would be punishable under law if they didn’t carry their tickets or didn’t buy one. And another thing mentioned was that “Travel only with a ticket issued on your name”, what the hell was that? All the people know that one can change the name and other details reporting it to the TTR with a nominal fees that is actually collected by the Railway Dept. But why this Ad on a Newspaper? No one who reads papers will do that. May be the dept thought that the people reading oc papers during the train journey will be educated.

Department of Tourism and Culture, Government of Tamilnadu is trying to show what is Chennai all about. I have gone to this Chennai sangamam the previous year but didn’t care about it much, but this time i went thrice. The first time boring with Gaana songs, then the normal songs, the third day i went was the closing of the event with lots of rockets and fireworks. I was just sitting in the house doing nothing after the heroes got over, then Marc called me an then we went to the beach. We ate some groundnuts and then came home. By then Marc was talking about optical Illusion stuff ,but i told him that he should stop that immediately since he cannot see without his specs on.
